Fashion.ED networking event | Netherlands

Last Thursday, Business Development Friesland hosted an inspiring networking event at our new office at Building Z (Zaailand 106) in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, to showcase the Fashion.ED project to colleagues from @iqubator and other stakeholders.

After 24 months of brainstorming, collaboration, and development, Fashion.ED is nearing completion. Together with our partners, we have brought innovative ideas to life and taken concrete steps toward a more responsible fashion industry, from sustainable material choices to reducing waste and minimizing the ecological footprint of fashion.

This project would not have been possible without our partners: UPV, UNIWA, KTU, ORADEA, and IDEC. It also contributes directly to the goals of the European Education Area.

📍 What’s next?
On September 16, our project manager @lotteduursma and assistant project manager @sarahtannoux will attend the international closing conference in Alcoy, Spain, hosted by our partner UPV.

There, fashion professionals, educators, students, and sustainability experts will:
• Present the Fashion.ED program and innovative VR training modules
• Explore the future of sustainable and circular fashion
• Share insights, tools, and success stories from the program

We are proud to celebrate both the impact of Fashion.ED and the opening of our new office, a space designed to inspire collaboration, creativity, and sustainable innovation.
