♻️🧶 Fashion.ED at the 12th Creando Sinergias Congress at UPV
On July 3, at the 12th Creando Sinergias Congress held at the Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Erasmus+ Project Fashion.ED – Supporting Entrepreneurship in Eco Design was presented — an initiative aimed at bringing eco-design and sustainable textile entrepreneurship closer to young people.
The Creando Sinergias Congress is a meeting space where research, projects, and entrepreneurial initiatives are presented by students from any university, as well as by professionals from a wide range of sectors, such as cosmetics and nutrition, industrial design, business economics and management, robotics, textiles, artificial intelligence, sustainability, fine arts, and education.
The presentation highlighted the main objectives 🏁 of the project, focused on promoting sustainability in the textile sector through innovative educational tools. Among the most notable results of Fashion.ED are:
- The creation of a MOOC to train young people in eco-design and textile entrepreneurship.
- The development of a virtual textile laboratory with 7 virtual experiments on eco-design and textile sustainability.
- The Eco-Design Challenge, a creative competition in which 20 young Europeans received entrepreneurship training in Leeuwarden (Netherlands) and applied this knowledge to their own business ideas.
This participation was an opportunity to share the project, build new connections, and foster the exchange of ideas to continue driving innovation and sustainability in the textile sector 🌍✨
